Blast Friday was established in 2009 as downtown Clearwater’s free, family-friendly street festival. Supported by the City of Clearwater, the Cleveland Street District and the Downtown Development Board and produced by Ruth Eckerd Hall On The Road. First 100 people to visit the Marketing Table receive a FREE Morton Plant Hospital Drawstring Bag! The concert is taking place on the 400 block with the stage located at Osceola and Cleveland in front of the Capitol Theatre. The Capitol Theatre will be open to the public starting at 5:30pm. The Grand Lobby bar is open as well as the downstairs restrooms for public use. Lots of fun things happening inside the Capitol such as Bingo, a 50/50 raffle, chances to win tickets and more! Visit the Threshers Tent to spin the wheel for a chance to win Ruth Eckerd Hall/Capitol Theatre show tickets and Threshers’ swag. Due to overwhelming demand, Here Come The Mummies return to Clearwater for the first time since their sold-out show at the Capitol Theatre in October. Since their discovery, the band has opened for P-Funk, Al Green and Cheap Trick, rocked Super Bowl Village 2012, become a regular on The Bob and Tom Show and made themselves the darlings of sell-out crowds over wide swaths of North America.
Special guests Noah Gutrhie and Ari & The Alibis will open the show.
