The Oldsmar Centennial Concert took place Saturday, October 1 from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. at Tampa Bay Downs! This was the final event of the year celebrating the 100 years of the City of Oldsmar named after its founder Ransom E. Olds, inventor, industrialist and car manufacturer (Oldsmobile). Team Nostalgic Radio and Cars and radio show hosts Jim Shoe and Mrs. Mona from Going Coastal were on hand the share in concert festivities along with the mayor of Oldsmar, Doug Bevis. The performances included; Steve Augeri (former lead singer of Journey), Buck Dharma (lead singer & guitarist of Blue Oyster Cult), John Cafferty & Michael Antunes (lead singer/guitarist & saxophonist of the Beaver Brown Band), Robby Steinhardt (former violinist and singer of Kansas). There was a great turnout and the crowds were enthralled with the performances. The Tampa Bay Downs was an excellent venue for the concert with great visibility, plenty of seating, well stocked concessions and parking. #Oldsmar100
