Monterey Collector Car Week

Monterey Collector Car Week is not to be missed in 2018. This special automotive week is full of exciting events, auto shows, rallies, concours and car auctions that ends on Sunday at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance.

Beginning on Tuesday with the exciting “Concours on the Ave” on Ocean Ave in downtown Carmel by The Sea, then the rest of the week includes events like the prestigious “McCalls Motorworks Revival” Jetport Party and “The Quail Motorsports Gathering” at the Quail Lodge, The “Little Car Show” in downtown Monterey features micro cars and sub compact European cars. The “Concorso Italiano”  is an all Italian car show held at the Black horse Country Club. For the German car enthusiast there is “Legends of the Autobahn” and the “Porsche Werks Reunion”. And then for the memorabilia collector there is is the “Automobilia Show” held at the Embassy Suites Hotel. For the holy car collector there is the special “Carmel Mission Classic Concours “where the Bishop blesses the cars. For the active types with exotic and rare classics who like to drive, they can participate in “The Pacific Grove Concours Auto Rally”, and as for the speed demons they can exercise their skills at the “Rolex Reunion” Vintage car races on the famed “Laguna Seca Raceway”. Not to be left out, but for the intellectual and historian types, there is always the “Pebble Beach Car Forum” hosted by celebrity automobile aficionados. Should one become intrigued and in the mood to expand their collection, than want no more, because all the auctions houses are here with over 2000 select cars to buy: Gooding and Company, Worldwide, Russo and Steele, Bonhams and Mecum. There are plenty more events to attend during the week, all leading up to the Grand Finale, The spectacular “Pebble Beach Concours d”Elegance”.
